Lynn is a CPA with 45 years of public and private accounting experience. She has extensive experience in tax, accounting and consulting. She received her Bachelor’s of Science Degree in accounting from The Ohio State University, her Juris Doctorate from the University of Memphis and her Master in Taxation from Northern Illinois University. Lynn enjoys spending time with her dogs, grown children and traveling to Northern Michigan.

Betty is a CPA with more than 20 years of experience in public and private accounting. Betty received her bachelor’s degree in accounting from Illinois State University and began her career at KPMG Peat Marwick. Her current focus is in the audit department with a high concentration of clients in the golf club and country club industry. Her public accounting experience includes audits, reviews, compilations, taxation and controllership experience. Outside of work you can find Betty enjoying time with her family, hiking, walking her dog or with her fitness group- FIA (females in action).

Jodi is a CPA with over 20 years of experience in public and private accounting. She joined Midwest Advisors in July, 2023. She has extensive experience in audits and reviews of not for profit and for profit entities. Jodi received her Bachelor’s degree from Bowling Greeen State University. In her spare time she enjoys playing with her dog and participating in her local community theatre.

Kelly is a CPA with over 18 years of experience in public accounting. Kelly worked for Ernst & Young (EY) in the Chicago area for 11 years and has extensive experience on audits of manufacturing clients and benefit plans. After a brief hiatus to raise her 5 children, Kelly returned to EY in 2012. In 2022, Kelly joined Philip + Rae & Associates, where she specializes in private club audits. She received her Bachelor’s Degree from Illinois State University, with a major in accounting, and a minor in business administration. In Kelly’s free time, she enjoys spending time with her 3 grandchildren and enjoys traveling and long walks.

Pam is a CPA and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy (1991) and a Master’s degree in Accountancy with Specialization in Taxation (1992) from Northern Illinois University. She has over 32 years of experience in both public and private accounting & tax services. She primarily provides accounting & tax services to small business clients and enjoys understanding their concerns while educating them on a personalized level to meet their specific needs. She is experienced with both Quickbooks (Desktop and Online) and Sage 50 accounting softwares and able to assist clients with their day-to-day accounting responsibilities. Her experience extends beyond accounting services with providing tax planning & preparation for individual, partnership and corporate tax returns to various service industries located in numerous states across the United States. In her spare time, Pam loves to travel, spend time with her family and friends, and embraces time outdoors amongst nature.

Roy is a CPA with over 50 years of experience in the private and public sectors of accounting. He received his bachelor’s degree from Lewis University. His experience as Controller, VP of Finance, Sole Tax Practitioner, and Tax Manager allows him to provide experienced service to our clients. He confidently deals with the IRS on behalf of the client when the need arises. Roy enjoys family time, watching his grandchildren participate in dance and sports, golf, and sports – more watching now than participating.

Russell graduated from Western Illinois University with a degree in accounting and passed the CPA exam in the State of Illinois. He has been in Public Accountant for over 30 years. He started his career as an auditor and change to tax preparation. He Has experience in accounting and tax services for individual, corporate, partnerships.

In his free time, he like woodworking.

Susan is a CPA with 23 years of experience in public and private accounting. She started her current role in 2019. She received her bachelor’s degree from Wheaton College and her master’s degree from DeVry University’s Keller Graduate School of Management. Susan is passionate about reading, music, and crafts of all sorts.

Antonella is a CPA with more than 14 years of experience in public accounting. She received her Bachelor’s Degree from DePaul University in 2010. For 10 years, she has specialized in outsourced accounting, working as a fractional CFO and managing client accounting departments both onsite and in a remote capacity. She enjoys assisting her clients with accounting and tax solutions from start to finish with her team. Antonella is proficient in a variety of accounting and tax software; including Lacerte, UltraTax, Sage, QuickBooks Online, QuickBooks Desktop, Zoho Books, EFI Pace and Avalara. She is a Certified QuickBooks Pro-Advisor. With her strong organizational skills, she enjoys helping clients remain organized and compliant in all their business needs. Outside of work, Antonella enjoys spending time with her family, friends & puppy. Her two young kids keep her busy and she loves to volunteer at their school whenever possible.

Cassandra is a Senior Audit Advisor with 5+ years of experience in audits of public and private entities and joined Platform Accounting Group in November 2024. She graduated from Northern Illinois University in 2019 with her Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy and a Master’s Degree in Accountancy Science in 2020. Throughout her career, she has had experience in consulting, audits, reviews, and preparation of financial statements. Outside of work, Cassandra enjoys reading, listening to podcasts, watching documentaries, and training her two dogs. She also enjoys spending time with her family and friends.

Jackie is a Senior Business Advisor with more than 15 years in public and private accounting. She presents both technical and interpersonal skills, including expertise in accounting software and strong analytical capabilities. Outside of work, Jackie enjoys spending time with family and friends.

Maegwin has 10+ years of experience in bookkeeping, payroll and tax services. She has experience with clients and accounts of all shapes and sizes. She received her Bachelor’s Degree from Concordia University Chicago. In her free time Maegwin enjoys traveling to visit her kids who are spread across the country. She also enjoys reading and watching tv and movies with her family.

Christine is a payroll specialist with 25 years of experience in public and private accounting and joined Midwest Advisors in November 2024. She received her Bachelor’s Degree from Elmhurst College in 1998. Outside of work, Christine enjoys spending time with her family and can often be found boating or hiking.

Tracy joined Midwest Advisors formerly known as Philip + Rae & Associates in 2019. She started as an Administrative Assistant and is now a payroll specialist and also prepares taxes. Prior to that, she worked in a busy Emergency Department as an Administrator for 11 years. She was also in banking for 16 years, starting as a teller and working her way up to an Operation Manager.

Michael has been a staff member of the Midwest Advisors audit team since January 2023. He has experience in audits and reviews for golf clubs, homeowner associations, and non-profit organizations. He received his Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago in 2022. Outside of work, Michael enjoys spending quality time with family and friends as well as staying active through basketball.

Lynn has been an administrative assistant at the firm since 2021. Lynn has worked in the tax industry since 2019. Lynn was able to stay home and raise her children and has enjoyed returning to the workforce. In her spare time, Lynn enjoys hiking, spending time with her family and cross stitching.
